GIQUADRO THE COMPANY
Giquadro manufactures bathroom-design from natural materials, like stone and wood. Using natural products with their unique colours and structure makes every piece unique.
Giquadro offers currently 4 series.
The QUADRO-series comprises square and rectangular models in which the shape and design create balanced and challenging concepts. The washbasins are hung on stainless-steel wall brackets which are hidden away so that the basin appears to emerge from the wall as one solid piece of stone. The water drains in a natural fashion via the seams of a stone tablet placed above each outlet.
The FLATLINE-series indeed is almost flat. The water drains naturally through the seams of a 1 cm countersunk stone tablet. A truly flat washbasin with a modern, linear and minimalist design which projects from the wall on stainless-steel brackets, giving an almost surreal effect.
The CROSSOVER-series is a fusion between the above two designs. This series - like the Quadro series – has a recessed sink, but with a flat area like the Flatline series. Naturally this washbasin also has the hidden drainage, the hidden brackets and right angles seen in previous Giquadro designs.
The BOWL-series , our latest design, combines our well known rectangular design with the circular shape. Hidden drainage and hidden wall brackets make that also this new series appears to emerge from the wall as one solid piece of stone.
The ABOUT THE MATERIAL
All our washbasins are available in black granite, white composite quartz and Belgian blue stone
Granite is formed when magma (molten rock) is forced between other rocks in the Earth's crust. Under huge pressure it cools and crystallizes deep underground. As it cools slowly crystals are formed.
Composite quartz products are manufactured from up to 93% quartz (one of nature's hardest minerals) and high-quality polymer resins and pigments that are compacted under intense vibration, vacuum, and pressure into dense, non-porous blocks. This material is very well suited for use in the bathroom.
Belgian blue stone or "Little Granite" is a limestone with a more or less pronounced natural blue/grey colour, which is characterized by the presence of a large number of fossilized crinoids. This type of bluestone is only quarried in Belgium.
A beautiful limestone planking with a cool dark blue-gray color palette with numerous inclusions. The inclusions are fossils of ancient sea life. Belgian Bluestone has humble origins and was used primarily as a ballast for ships and as road paving material. It became popular as an interior flooring material in the 19th century and can be found in luxury homes, exclusive hotels, and high-end retail stores throughout Europe.
